help with social media share plugins

    how do I get my social media icons placed where I want and had them – the changes I save do nothing – the say at end of post or floating and a position or appear after X seconds …nothing I do changes them –

    as of now they are off the post page at the bottom

    I just want them at the bottom of post – which they used to be at…

    ALSO my short link option disappeared from editing title – what is with that?
    used to have button said get shortlink

    Thank you for your question. You said it used to work fine. Did you do any changes to your theme, or installed other plugins, in the meantime?

    no I did not

    changes occurred and I am trying to make fix – lost many days and much time

    this was some plugin update or something..

    I’d just like to get the current plug in to work as it says it should and have not been able to

    You say “the changes I save do nothing”…

    Could you please clear cache? By that, I mean…

    – The browser cache, see https://www.solutionbay.com/solutions/dont-know-how-to-clear-the-cache-1
    – Please also check if you have a cache plugin installed. If so, please disable it temporarily, and check if it’s ok now

    okay now that I cleared it – I got some of it to work but am not able to delete other actions – even though I remove floating icons and pop-ups they continue… cleared cache but these persist

    simply want visible share buttons… right now they are in upper right…plus floating and popping up – only want upper right… that is plenty

    And you de-selected the other options on the plugin’s settings page? Could you please share the screenshots here (showing you de-selected them)?

    working to make that happen – can you better explain the notion of sticky icons or widgets… says different than permanent – still viewable if scrolling…

    and yes still unable to disable floating icons and pop-ups – icons appear in upper right corner of blog post, scroll with me as I scroll down and then a center pop-up asks to share blog – overbearing but not worst thing that could happen… makes sharing really obvious….

    would prefer more tact… than blatant bombardment –

    Please make a screenshot of the options which you said you de-selected, but the corresponding icons still show on your website.
