Hi everyone, I created a WP site for a client and we’ve found that it tends to be pretty laggy at times.

The site currently has 76 pages, plus 59 ‘Events’ (for the plugin ‘All-in-One Event Calendar by Timely’).

Could this be a cause of the sluggishness?

This is the site in question:
    Project Healthy Living

Everything is currently up to date.

    The theme is Suffusion 4.4.6.
I have 12 active plugins and 3 inactive plugins. This is the list:
    (active)
    Admin Menu Editor
    All-in-One Event Calendar by Timely
    Contact Form Manager
    Disable Comments
    Hello Dolly
    Participants Database
    Search & Replace
    Slideshow
    Shapshot Backup
    Ultimate TinyMCE
    Widget Logic
    Wordpress Move

    (inactive)
    Advanced Category Excluder
    Advanced Category Excluder Widgets
    Akismet

Would anyone mind going to it and seeing how well it loads on your end? It’s hard cause I don’t have many resources on which to test it.

I know that culprits for slowness can be plugins and outdated stuff in general, but at the moment I just have the 12 plugins, which are all up to date.

I found a few other threads on similar topics. Someone mentioned the ‘W 3 total cache’ plugin. Should I look into getting that? What cache plugin is the best in your opinions?

Should I look into compressing my database? Are there any other suggestions that I have missed?
