Help with shortcode

If anyone can help..

I wrote a snippet by duplicating the example in the app/plugin.

My problem is only the shortcode is showing its results when it runs. Nothing I wrote on a page or post, before and after the shortcode in showing up when viewed on the webpage.

Can someone help me with this.
