Help with Shipping settings

    I need to configure the following shipping options…
    I only sell to the United States
    1) Free Shipping or Local Pick up (we have alot of local customers that come here)
    2) Local Pick up only (chickens and parakeets I can’t ship)
    3) flat shipping rate of $8.95 (hatching eggs i need to get there fast)

    I made a zone called United States and has both Free Shipping and Local pick up when you go to checkout. the customer can choose.

    but how do I make the other two? Do I add another Zone for the United states for #2 and #3? I still see the free shipping choice?

    Hi @blowneggs –

    It sounds like you’re going to need some sort of conditional shipping plugin as this is not possible with the core WooCommerce shipping options. This is the one we offer in our marketplace.

    Hi @blowneggs –

    Yes, with a conditional shipping plugin, you should be able to assign specific shipping methods to products or categories. The shipping methods you mentioned are pretty straightforward (flat rate, free, local pickup), so the only missing piece is being able to dynamically assign those methods to certain products. ??

    Thank you so much for answering…now I got to look at the the one you mentioned above called Conditional Shipping & Payments….what about the Per Product Shipping ? they both are the same price, but is one easier than the other? sorry for so many questions…Lisa

    Ask away – that’s what we are here for! ?? The Conditional Shipping & Payments is a bit more complex with more features. It does sound like the Per Product Shipping extension might be easier for you to implement. ??
