Help with Salient theme (Theme Nectar)

  • Hi there,

    I’m struggling to get Relevanssi to work with Salient theme by Theme Nectar. The search page works, but the results have not changed with Relevannsi activated.

    I’ve gone through search.php but could not find query_posts, search.php here https://pastebin.com/c01baNG6 . I have tested it with Twenty-Twenty-One theme, and it works fines, it’s indexed and results were as expected.

    Any suggestions? TIA

    There’s nothing wrong with the template, it’s fairly basic and uses the default WP_Query. The problem is somewhere else.

    I happened to have a Salient license from way back, and I gave it a go on my test site. With the default settings, Relevanssi works fine with Salient: the search results are the same as they are in the Relevanssi admin search. Salient doesn’t seem to have any settings that would affect the search results, either.

    So it’s a bit of a mystery… Can it be some other plugin?
