Help with reverting to Front page displaying latest posts

Hi,

The current setting of my site is like this:
Front page displays: Static Page
Menu Navigation Label: Welcome, Type: Page

Posts Page: Blog
Menu Navigation Label: My Journey, Type: Page

When I was new to wordpress, I made the front page – a static about page with the latest posts displayed on Blog page. Now I want to revert to Front page displaying latest posts. But When I change it in Settings, Front page displays a blank page with page title ‘Blog’. I understand that if the page type was Custom, I could have added URL #, but how do I do that now?
If the solution involves changing URL or deleting and adding new Custom type in Menu, please explain the effect on SEO.
