Help with removing search form

    Does anyone know how to remove a search form from a theme? I have a site that the search form makes look tacky and I have already removed some things, but this is giving me trouble. I removed all of the text from the searchform.php file (saved it just in case though), but the search box is still present on my site. If you have any guidance at all on how to remove, please let me know. Thanks!

    It will help if you post a URL. There is no generic answer – its different in each theme
