Help with Popups

  • Hello everyone!

    I’m using several plugins on my site to make it members-only and I’ve been able to expand the registration form for new users. The only thing I’m having a hard time doing is the following:

    When a user visits the site and is directed to the login/register page after trying to navigate to a page other than the home page (the only public display page), I would like to add in a popup to ask users if they need tech support? A simple, rising box near the bottom of the page would suffice as long as I can alter the information to add in my phone number and the tech support email address.

    I’m okay with PHP as long as I know exactly where code needs to go. Generally, I rely on plugins for most things. I’d love to be able to add this feature via plugin. If one isn’t available, I’m open to adding scripting to my site with some direction.

    Modifying request:

    In place of the popup, I’m also willing to add a static image on the registration page (not in the form, but beside, for example). I’ve looked for plugins or code to do this, but I’m not having much luck. This may be easier than creating a popup though.
