Help with new plugin

  • I want to develop/modify Shaun Inman’s short stats for WP.
    I think it offers some great possiblities and it is simple and he plans to continue updating it. Is there anyone interested in this that wants to help?

  • As a happy user of both WP and shortstat, I can’t see any benefit from trying to shoehorn shortstat into a WP plugin…
    It already works so well with WP just by dropping the ‘include’ line into your template page(s).
    Plus Shaun has just re-written it almost from scratch, so doing this before the new version is released would be a waste of time.
    That said, if you do decide to go for it I look forward to seeing the results.
    If you really want to do something awesome with Shortstat, build a Flash/SVG/Client-side generated graphing front end for it ??
