Help with new generic error when saving

Hello, thanks for a great plugin!
Just today I started getting the new general error message (that came with the last major WordPress update), where this error message comes up after clicking on Update to save a new or copied/duplicated boxzilla popup. No email is ever sent to the WordPress admin email under Settings however, and I am not seeing anything generated in the error_log file on the web server, so I am at a loss to troubleshoot this now.
I tested creating and updating regular WordPress posts, since both those and Boxzilla use the …/wp-admin/post.php?… url to edit and update the content, but it only appears to occur for Boxzilla with the testing I have done thus far.
Any help you can provide so I can get to the bottom of this would be appreciated. Also, I am using the latest version of WordPress(5.2.1) and Boxzilla(3.2.12).
