HELP with navigation bar

  • I posted the other day and got not response so i am hoping someone can help me today.

    I’m trying to make more changes to my theme and I’m sure I’m butchering the code along the way… but, I solved part of my problem and opened up another one.

    I added a navigation “area”/bar just under my site banner… but I can’t get the main text to be larger (stand out) – Page one, Notso News, etc.
    Help?

    My other main problem is adding the search back back into that area but put it where it “looks” ok and fits. No clue whatsoever on that.

    Also, the about me, etc. will be replaced with icons later and that is something else I need to work on.

    ANY HELP would be greatly appreciated

    i’ve mostly figured out the font issue – though I still can’t change the color of the font in the navigation area.

    also, was trying to change the font in the body of the posts (not headers, etc.) but can’t seem to change just that…no matter what i do

    was also looking for a referral on a good coder – if anyone can refer?
