Help with Mobile Redirect?

  • Hey guys,

    I recently made a website where I edited the containers of the product page in order to make the image bigger as WooCommerce’s image enlargement options weren’t working. Because of this however, the mobile page is not optimized.

    I was wondering what I should do in order to combat this inefficiency? I tried uploading a backup of the site onto a sub-domain but the package size was too large for upload when using the BackupBuddy and Duplicator plugins.

    I’m at my wit’s end here. Any help would greatly be appreciated!

  • The first thing you can do is to promise never to do that again. Ever.

    The second thing you can do is to read up on Responsive Design. Here’s something that’s already 4 years old, but a good place to start.

    Finally, you should check to see if your theme’s css has media queries that you have overwritten. And if not, look at how to implement media queries into your site’s css so you can scale things relative to the browser upon which your users may be viewing. Try this one for a starter.
