Help with missing values [title] and [description]

    Hi,

    I’ve set up my first feed for use with google merchant centre, however I’m having a rather basic problem in that the product title does not seem to be recognised or pull in to the feed (i.e. error “missing value [title]”. I have the same issue with description also.

    I’ve spent several hours trying to find out why this may be the case, but I’m not really getting anywhere and the problem persists, preventing me from getting the feed valid.

    Any help would be much appreciated!Debug

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with the title and description fields. Just to ask the obvious: did you fill in the title’s and descriptions for your products in the proper fields? Your feed configuration looks fine for the title and description so that is not it.

    Hi Eva,

    I’m pretty sure the title is in the correct field: woo commerce product title

    When I look at the feed, however the title is blank (feed screenshot) The description does have information in but equally this isn’t being recognised by Google.

    Is the “CDATA” anything to do with it not working?

    Hi Matthew,

    Our plugin does not add CDATA to the feeds.

    Did you somehow tried adding this yourselves? If so, then please remove it. Changes are our plugin removes the entire title because it finds ‘strange’ characters because of this.

    Hi, there were some issues on the backend with regards to the title field that the developers have since corrected.
