Help With Menus?

  • Hello
    I need help putting a dropdown menu on my site. I want a dropdown menu widget for the right hand side of my website which, when clicked, displays some of my categories (but not all of them just a select few).
    I tried adding a Categories dropdown menu but it showed every category, which is not what I want.
    It then gave me the option to add a custom menu which I have done and which works but instead of it being a dropdown menu, it just lists them all on the right hand side and pushes some of my other widgets down the page, which is not what I want.
    How can I get a dropdown menu widget on the right which will only when clicked, show the categories I select it to show and not all of them?

  • Yes you can.

    Creat a custom menu (apperance -> menus), and add the categories you want.

    Then go to widgets (apperance -> widgets) and add the widget “custom menu” to optional sidebar.
