• I’m new to WP and need help with a theme and links within the theme. My site is https://www.journalingthebible.com. I downloaded a theme and have everything setup except the included ‘About’ ‘Home’ ‘Links’ and ‘contacts’ that are at the top of the page. When clicked on it brings up a 404 error. So this means that the page doesn’t exist. My problem is that I’m not sure how to add these pages and put content in them so that the links work. Can I create these pages in Dreamweaver and upload them? If so, where do they go?

  • You can add them using your admin page; using the same name.

As I’m new to WP I need more help than this. I added a page called contact which is what the link is called on my site. It added a link in the sidebar but the link created by the theme at the top of the page is not live. Is this calling for a page created by the theme that I have to edit somewhere else? Please check out https://www.journalingthebible.com and look at the links at the top to see what I’m talking about.

Open the header.php file from the theme folder {you can open this file using notepad if you like} and you will see the list for those links. Edit the link there to point to the page url you created in the admin.
