the posts were imported correctly but the in line images only show up as a blank space with a small blue “?” question mark in the middle, as if the image is missing. But if you click on the question mark, then it will load the correct image. And, the featured image shows correctly on the blog list of posts. The images only don’t show up in the post itself, unless you click on the small question mark individually for each image. How do I make the images show up in-line automatically in the post?
    thx

    Hi Adam,

That’s strange, it sounds like the image sources have been broken or corrupted somehow. Are you able to send me a link to a post which is showing the missing images?

    Hi Adam,

Looking at the first image in that post, it is being sourced at:

    https://i2.wp.com/box5733.temp.domains/~movetwp1/newhome/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/IMG_0226.jpeg?resize=640%2C480

This appears to be a temporary domain which was setup by your host. I’m guessing after the new site was launched, the site was then changed to the proper domain at https://aliyah.move2israel.com. However, during that process the image sources were not changed to this new domain. This is why the images are not working.

To test this theory, I tried changing the image listed above to your new domain. This would source to:

    https://aliyah.move2israel.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/IMG_0226.jpeg

If you try clicking that link, you’ll see that the image exists and is working. So I’d recommend contacting your host and asking them to do a “search and replace” on your site’s database to make sure any old references to the temporary domain are changes to the proper domain. For example, all references of “box5733.temp.domains/~movetwp1/newhome” should be replaced with “aliyah.move2israel.com”. They will know how best to do that on their system though, that is just an example.

Hope that helps! I’ll set this post to ‘solved’ as it is unrelated to the plugin. However if you have any other questions about the plugin you are welcome to get in touch and I’ll be happy to help.

    Phil
