    Hi @mikewillochell

Sorry to hear you are having this issue.

I checked your page but I could only find the form below the ?“service request” not a button to trigger the Hustle module.

    Had you edited the page?

If so, can you add it back on a test page so we can take a deeper look?

    Best Regards

hey thanks for responding, so it’s that form you seen blow that is suppose to pop up when you click the “send us a message” button on the widget block that’s got the background with the block wall, you’ll find it there, then it’s also suppose to pop up with the “service” button on mobile menu at the bottom only visible on mobile view, from what I remember your suppose to set the button id for the on the button “send us a message” and the “service” button to what the what you labeled it on fluent forms, which was service-request sorry if I’m repeating myself is that what you ment when you couldn’t find them?

When you say edit the page, no I didn’t edit or change anything, what I had did was delete some add on plugins, now I’m not 100% sure this is even the issue but I’m gonna mention it because maybe it will help in the troubleshooting, the plugin I deleted was master addons it gives you the ability to add custom css to anything just like the paid for version of elementor I have the free version so I’m not sure if to get this pop up to work if it needs some css to make it happen, when I re-download master add-ons if it was what was making the pop up work on the button it is now gone..

to confirm the embed id from the fluent forms is in the hustle main content area, when i click preview the pop up comes up and displays, however if i exit out and click the send us a message button it will not bring up the pop up still see screen shot https://ibb.co/H2hqgFb and https://ibb.co/r73hVcG

its like the pop up isnt being linked to the button i want it to pop up when its clicked, under behavior it is set to “click” with the word #service-request see screen shot https://ibb.co/LZHJHBS also see https://ibb.co/ZXHm5rr

now on my “send us a message” button the button id is set to service-request https://ibb.co/KxQ7g3g

does there need to be any css to make this work? or do i have anything wrong? all those settings and everything i shown was already set up from before when it was working, its like im missing somthing to make it work hopefully this helps and is more infromative as to the problem

    Hi @mikewillochell

Thank you, I could find it now.

Based on your screenshot your configuration is correct, can you try adding a # in your anchor link to see if makes any difference?

    https://monosnap.com/file/pK31WX74fileOYeYy9iEqWdJZDCiup

If not, please, try a different selector, I see two section with same ID, where a page we should use only one ID or multiple classes https://monosnap.com/file/65pm5X7ohkT5GWG2goNSTh36DHEaJC

But in case the problem persists, it could be a plugin or theme conflict and we will need to look further but the above tests would point us to the correct direction for the next steps.

so i tried it with the # in front it didnt work, i tired a new button and setting button id to #service-request and without the # both ways with no luck, on the hustle module i made another selector for the new button #service and that didnt work, im not sure what im doing wrong, if anything but the theme is astra and im using elementor page builder it worked correctly with this for years im not sure what the issue is? is there any custom css needed to make it work? see screen shots https://ibb.co/JksPRrk

    Hi @mikewillochell

    Please do as follows:

    1. In these settings (as on this screenshot)

    https://imgbb.com/JksPRrk

do actually remove the # character entirely from the “Link” field; I know it’s been suggested to add it but do remove it back

    2. Then in “Button ID” also remove the # character entirely, leaving the word only; I’d also suggested changing word “service” there to something more unique to make sure that there’s for sure only one, single instance of it across the page; Let’s say you’d go for “servicepopup” – you would need to write just “servicepopup” (without quotes and the # character!) in “Button ID” field.

Then update the page to make sure changes are saved.

    3. Then to go popup configuration and in behavior settings under Pop-up Trigger in “Click” section the “CSS Selectors” field include that Button ID but with # character here. So if you used “servicepopup” in Button ID, use “#servicepopup” here (again, no quotes).

Finally, do save settings, and since you are using Elementor, do go to “Elementor -> Tools -> General” page and use a button there to regenerate CSS. Then clear all cache on site/server and test it again in incognito (important!) browser window.

If it still doesn’t work, it would mean that there’s some unexpected conflict – as the popup/button configuration would certainly be fine. But first – please give it a go (even if you already feel like you tried that, please go exactly the steps I outlined again) and let us know about the outcome.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

ok so i have tried all that and it didnt work i tried #servicepopup and #service-pop-up on the module and the same on the button minus the # cleared server cache and site then regenerated from tools in elementor both times when i was trying the changes and checked in incognito mode. I dont understand this all was working fine before. is there anyway you guys can fix it or diagnose it if i give you access to c panel and siteground? even if i have to pay somthing i will to get it working correctly. im not sure if its a wordpress issue, hustle issue or my site issue. now for whatever reason there is a grey space at the bottom of the block that has the click here button that i have been trying to make work, theres no way to delete it and its more noticeable on mobile then desktop but that just started happening please let know if you can fix it or what to do next, thanks

    Hi @mikewillochell

I reviewed the settings in the screenshots you shared and they seem to be correct. I also checked the source code of the page and could notice the button id’s match with the recommended settings.

There is one additional recommendation though. When checking the page I found some errors in the browser console (you can right click on any section of the page and select the “inspect” option to access these tools), please see the screenshot and the code below:
    https://snipboard.io/dIUeGJ.jpg

jquery.sticky-sidebar.js?ver=1677452074:14 Uncaught Error: The container does not contains on the sidebar.
        at StickySidebar.initialize (jquery.sticky-sidebar.js?ver=1677452074:14:306)
        at new StickySidebar (jquery.sticky-sidebar.js?ver=1677452074:11:1160)

        at e.exports.runReadyTrigger (frontend.min.js?ver=3.9.2:2:3548)

This code comes from a cached file and is related to the “Exclusive AddOns for Elementor”. This error could interrupt any other JavaScript functionality, including triggering the pop up.

    /wp-content/cache/min/1/wp-content/plugins/exclusive-addons-for-elementor/assets/vendor/js/jquery.sticky-sidebar.js?ver=1677452074

Check if deactivating this plugin and clearing the cache helps solve the issue with the pop-up. You may also need to report this error to the plugin developer.

    Kind regards

ok so i tried deactivating the plugin and clearing cache looking on incognito and no difference so i reactivated it what i did find out is when im on the home page in the elementor builder and click preview changes it brings up a new window with my website if i click inspect it then gives me my website on one side and the inspection view on the other if i then click on “send us a message” the pop up works and i can see my form, also when in the inspect it shows the mobile menu and when i click on the “service”button the pop up works and i can see my form, but when i look up my website in incognito or not it doesnt work and on a mobile phone it doesnt work so what could cause that? https://ibb.co/hHfkgYn

    Hi @mikewillochell

    Sorry for the delay here.

Can you try cleaning the browser cache? Sometimes incognito does bring some caching too.

I was able to see the PopUp on both Desktop and Mobile:
