help with home page layout

    Hello,
    I am designing a new site with this theme and am having issues with a large gap between the menu and the slider image on my home page.
    Could someone please help me fix this? it is driving me crazy..

    ps. I would love to also remove the word “home’ from the page too.. so if someone could tell me where to remove that as well I would greatly appreciate it.

    thanks for the reply! no I haven’t It just seems like there is a large gap between the menu and the picture.. do you know what woothemes recommends for their sliders?

    You mean the white space here: https://cl.ly/image/2o3H45150r2g ?

    I think that’s because you’ve set the header background as white as well so the padding seems a bit too big. You can tweak that easily with a custom css plugin or a child theme.
