• Hi everyone.
First of all sorry if this question has been already made and sorry if it’s a basic question.
    You’ll see I’m a very rookie.
    But I really need help.

I asked help to a so-called “friend” to help me developing a webiste for my new business.
I registered the domain and had the hosting. He installed WordPress and started to configure it.
At certain point he decided that he had something better to do and left me with the page you can see.
Now, I’m getting ahead and giving it a try, especially using WPBakery but I really don’t have any idea of how to change the Header Logo of the page.
I tried to check under the APPEARANCE>CUSTOMIZE but it didn’t work.
It seems like a sort of CSS cusomization but I really don’t know how to get to it to change the picture.

Can anyone be so kind to guide me so I can get there?

Thanks in advance for your help.
The life of a rookie is in your hands ??

the logo looks like it’s a .SVG image located in one of your theme’s folders
    https://www.btvtrucking.com/wp-content/themes/federnfabrik/assets/images/Group%2096.svg

look in the assets folder in your theme’s directory.
can you access your files in your webhosting account?
the logo might be hardcoded into your theme instead of manageable using the APPEARANCE>CUSTOMIZE area.
did your friend build a custom theme for your business?

IMPORTANT: make a backup of the files AND database for your website before making any changes to the theme.

Hi Lisa. Thanks so much for the reply.
So, I’ve been able to find the .SVG file.
Unfortunately, I’ve not been able to change the logo ??
In the same folder there was a .png file with the current logo (the one i wanted to change) and i replaced it with the new logo …. but still it didn’t work.
Not sure but it seems my friend developed a customized version of a standard theme.

Anyway, maybe it could help if i report the content of the .svg file
    Thanks for any additional support.

Suggestion: does your webhosting plan offer a “one-click staging environment”? (ask the webhosting’s support team)
If yes, you could test various changes to the theme in the staging environment so the testing process would not be visible to your normal website visitors.

Hi Lisa. The answer is no but i’ve installed a plugin to automatically create a staging site.
The real problem is that I have ZERO idea on how to fix it/what to do.
    ??

Any help or suggestions would be really appreciated
