Help with front page

Hello,

I am new to WordPress and trying to set up the front page of my website. I’m struggling to figure out how to get the front page to do what I’m picturing in my head, and also struggling to word what I want in a way that I can find any information on how to do it.

Basically, I have a long photo of a wall that’s been Photoshopped to look like it has my logo painted at the top of it. What I want is for a user to land on the page and see the painted portion of the wall framed full-width on the screen. Then, as the user scrolls down the page, the view scrolls down the rest of the wall, and information (About, Contact, etc) scrolls up the wall with a transparent background as the user scrolls down it.

I’m not sure if this is something I can do with the Illdy theme. If not, suggestions for any other ways to do this, or other themes to use to do this, would be appreciated.
