Help with DataTables Buttons Print button

    Using TablePress 1.9, DataTables Buttons 1.1 & DataTables ColumnFilterWidgets 1.7
    I’m an admin on a site hosted by a commercial provider. I have a table that is a directory of home owners. I need to be able to have the Print, PDF, and Excel buttons print the text normally displayed in the Table Information Description field, something like “for the exclusive use of our members…”. Is there a way to do this?

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    I see what you mean, but unfortunately, I’m not aware of a solution for this at the moment ?? The JavaScript code only allows using the actual table data here. Sorry.

    Could the JavaScript be changed to honor the Show the Table Description flag and then print the table data?

    It is key that there be a disclaimer whenever the table is viewed / printed.

    Hi,

    technically, that should be possible, but I don’t know how as I’m not the developer of the JS code behind the Buttons Extension. I only packaged it to make it a available as a TablePress Extension.
