Help- With Dashboard Menu Bar

After I updated the latest WP update, the menu the one that goes down the left side of the admin page, the one that explains or labels what or where to find things? That colum is only about 1/2″ wide without any text.

I have reset my fonts and resized my computers dpi and nothing changed. I have used the control and slid the area between the boxes (this used to work so you can make that column wider or thinner) Now it stays thin no matter what I do ??

In fact I checked another computer to find out if it’s the computer or my WP settings and it was not in the computer as that one was not right either, still showing a no text, thin column.. So it must be a WP setting.

Dunno where to go to get help, I’m about at the end of my rope.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
