Help with "continue reading" link

    Hi,

    I am using the Premium News theme from woothemes and I have a question regarding the feature article box. My site is https://www.stockmarketmate.com/2013/

    In the featured article box, the writing seems to just drop through the box. Is there any way of putting a ‘continue reading’ in the featured box? I’m having trouble finding anything.

    The designer of the theme has a demo page https://demo.woothemes.com/premiumnews/ where if you look you can see that the continue reading link exists, so it’s possible to put in, I just don’t know how.

  • This is a paid theme so you should as for support through them.

    But since I am a nice guy I will give you 1 thing to try.

    Enter the below code where you want it to cut off.

    If that doesn’t work. Contact woothemes support.

    Open the page or post in the visual editor…look at the row of icons just above the editor box…the last one on right is the ‘kitchen sink’…click it…you should now see two rows of icons..now you will be able to place mouse cursor at where you want the read more in the post/page, then click the icon for the read more tag…you may also want to review this with your theme provider as they may have set up a custom theme option for this…

    This can also be achieved in posts using excerpts, which may also be a theme option..
