• I downloaded the Contact Form ][ plug-in, installed and activated it. I created a new static page and put only one tag in the page, – [CONTACT FORM] and for some reason, all my page layout got messed up. You can see the result here:

Has anyone else experienced this or knows of a way to fix it?

Or does anyone know an alternate way to create a contact form?

    All help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Kristina

  • Actually your header is messed up ??

But the plugin looks ok, no problem.

    (I’m using Opera)

Ok… I see now. I just checked it out in Firefox. The contact form looks ok in Firefox but the Header is indeed messed up.

The header looks good in IE though. I guess I’ll look at my code. I used a theme and modified it some and perhaps I ommitted a variable somewhere.

    Thanks for your help!

Ok. So I fixed my header. And all works very well now in Firefox. However, it is still a mess in IE. I based my theme on WP-Andreas09 for WP 2.0 and so I uploaded that theme and the contact page is still scrambled in IE. I minimized the damage somewhat (that is having the text box go under the left hand menu) by putting the [CONTACT FORM] in a 1 cell table. Anything else you think I can do as a fix?

Do you have the latest version of the plug-in? I noticed this on Ryan Duff’s site:

    Fixed in 1.2

CSS Error that causes the form to jump to the bottom
of the page with some themes.

Not sure if it’s the Ryan Duff plug-in you’re using…
