Help with Child-theme

I don’t know if anyone can give me any help as I can not post the site because of legal stuff…but I am using Jobroller and have created a child-theme. The themes offers the creation of jobpacks. With the child theme activated the packs do not save but if I activate the jobroller parent theme they are there. I also have another site using the child theme and the packs work fine. So, I tried installing that sites database..no luck. I also activated the native wordpress theme and going back..no luck. I have gone thru the files and copied anything over to the child folder I think would be relevant..no luck.if anyone has any ideas I am completely open!!! I give up!!!
