Help with building, completely lost.

Hello, I’m student, trying to figure out a lot of things, and I’m against the clock, and it’s driving me crazy on how to do this. I need to build a website for a project, and it was decided to build it while trying to make it look or feel like a comic page, where each divison is a button to another section of the website. All this only for the homepage. The thing is that each button has to have a small animation on mouse over. So you can imagine it, it has to be something like this:

then again, all the comic is visible, but the animations trigger when the user does a mouse over.

For the division of the website, I’ve been trying to use Page Builder by SiteOrigin because it let’s you to divide the site in a similar way that I’ve been looking for, but I’ve been very unsuccessful.

Well, I really need the help, and thanks to the community in advance, sorry for my rusty english too.

My knowledge in coding is very basic, that’s why I’m using wordpress, a friend recommended me to do it, for the vast extension of plugins and widgets, but I’ve been going crazy trying to find something that it could help me.
