Help with better search results

I have issues with the search function, for example if you search for “Data” jobs you get 0 results. But search for “Data Scientist” and you get 49 results or search for “Data Entry” and you get 20 results. Is there a way to search for “Data” and get all results for anything with Data?

Location search actually has the exact opposite problem. Searching for “New” results in a search including any location with the term “new” in it. If you get very specific such as “New York, NY, United States” you get zero results. In this case it would be great if results contained “New York” and “NY” jobs even if “United States” wasn’t specified in the job location. Is there a way to achieve this without too much hacking?
