Help with basic and advanced search

Hi all,

I’m looking at creating a new Post style called Reviews with a variety of custom fields.

I want to then be able to search those reviews either generally with a single search field that looks across all the fields for a match

or

a set of search fields that includes drop-downs for those items that are a predefined list of possible values.

I don’t think I need to look at relational things as the Reviews will be each complete and independent.

I’m just looking for a bit of a steer on the approach I should take.

Happy to code away if needed but wondered if this can be achieved with, say Pod and Elementor Pro which I already use for other design matters.

It feels like this should be something that has a solution already but I’m struggling to find it.

Any good ideas or pointers on the best approach would be marvellous.
