Help with Background Image

Howdy,

I’d like some advice on a blog that a friend passed along to me to help with.
The theme is Responsive by Templatic.

I spoke to the agency that he got the blog set up at, and – altho Templatic has a support forum- I can’t access it because they bought the resale rights to the templates.

So, I’m hoping someone here can give me some advice.

I changed the background for them to a beautiful darker texture. Assuming the background will just show up around and behind stuff- logo, around the edges etc…

But the background runs right through all the text boxes on the pages, text area in the footer, and so on.

Basically, you can’t see the text because its so dark.

Is there a way to change the text areas back to a white? Or am I on the hunt for another background image?
