• Ok so I’m trying to add an adsense block to my blog.

I would ideally like it just below the post title, on the right hand side.

The problem is that the Atahualpa theme doesn’t seem to distinguish between a post and the post title.

When I add the adsense block in in index.php (there’s also no separate page.php or singlepost.php in this theme), the block goes basically where I want it, but it still squishes the title over to the left.

However, when I check a single post page, the ad block shows up above the entire post, including the title.

I would greatly appreciate any help as I would really rather not change themes.

    Thanks!

  • I have a quick idea for you. I like Atahualpa, even though it’s loaded with tables. ?? My idea is not precisely what you describe, but it’s dead easy and very safe to test. It will put your code just above the title, rather than to the right.

In admin: Appearance… Atahualpa Theme Options… Post/Page Info Items.

Take a look at “Kicker Multi-Post Pages”, or “Kicker Single Post Pages”, etc. I stuck some HTML code in Kicker Single Post Pages, and it displayed very nicely right above my Title on a Single Post page. Your adsense code could go right there.

Actually, I just made it go to the right of the title by adding some style code to my stuff. ??

    Good luck, Dave
