Help with App Center Design
-
Hello! We recently purchased Filter Everything to add more filters to our App Center.
Our inspiration: https://visiopharm.com/app-center/?cat=40
As you can see, we are looking to build a horizontal, multi-level, interconnected filter system. Our Apps are currently in our “portfolio” feature but can be moved to Posts if need be – it’s just more effort.
At the very top, we would like broad “groups” that look like “tabs”, with one of these being “All”. Underneath each group/tab, we would like to add a various filter categories that have a number of unique filters underneath each as labels, as opposed to dropdowns or checkboxes (they need to be multi-select). And, we would like the filters to have the ability to be different for different groups.
Our questions:
- Search: I have not figured out a way to add a search box that filters only the post type “Apps” or search items on the page only. Does anyone know how to go about this?
- Groups/Tabs: I have not found a way to create groupings and tabs at the top of the page, above Filter Everything – Filters. I have played around with using different tab widgets, but it won’t allow me to drag Filters into tab groups. We can, of course, add a different filter into the filter set for the top groupings, but we prefer the look and experience of the switching of tabs where the tab is underlined and all other filters disappear.
- Embedding: Once complete, is it possible to embed a mini version of the new “App Center” on another page, with a pre-selection of a certain grouping or filter? For example, if our tabs/groupings are A, B, and C, we would like to showcase a mini version of the App Center (pre-selected to be filtering for apps related to A) on the web page all about grouping A.
Can these be done? I appreciate the help in advance. Let me know if you would like any clarification about what we are looking to accomplish. Thanks!
