Help with adding Jetpack plugin

    Hi,
    I just created a free WordPress site. But I want to add the Jetpack plugin. When I click on Plugins in my WordPress though it says, “Want to add a store to your site?” Upgrade Now.

    It seems like I’m being enticed to upgrade to a fee-based WordPress. Yet the Jetpack website link (below) said it should be very simple to click Plugin, search for the free Jetpack plugin, and “Install Now.”

    I’m not sure what WordPress version this is, but I assume it is the latest version since I just downloaded it today. How can I check for the version? What in the world can I do to get this plugin? Thanks.
