Help with a short tag as stopped working

    Hello, this is asking for help with a short tag that stopped working since i’ve updated website to WP 5.9

    [fep_shortcode_new_message_form to="{current-post-author}" subject="{current-post-title}" heading="Contact"]
    -subject parameter and value is rendering and present in form while
    “current-post-author” value is rendering empty
    <input type="hidden" id="shortcode-message-to" class="" name="message_to" value="">
    -Error on page:
    Error: Invalid receiver “”.
    Error: You must enter a valid recipient!

    Please suggest how to solve.
