As a nonprofit with a shoestring budget, I can’t simply turn over website duties to a well-paid pro, which means I have to muddle through a lot of things on my own with a minimal amount of tech know-how. I struggled getting set up and figured after about 4 or 5 email exchanges with Charitable’s support, they’d throw me out the window.

Instead, they kept going back and forth with me even when I’d hit a brick wall. They weren’t going to let the situation end with a “looks like you’ve got a problem on your end” and leave it at that. They made queries and suggestions until we figured out the few quirks with my server and such. Now, it works like a charm.

I will STRONGLY suggest using the Stripe extension instead of PayPal. PayPal may be more widely recognized, but their donations pages are incredibly convoluted compared to Stripe, which takes the same percentage of donations.
