HELP – Weird wp_pba_index_0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,6 files appearing

  • My very first post on the forum! (so please be gentle ?? haha)

    I have several WordPress sites hosted on Godaddy (hoping that isnt the problem)… and about 1 or 2 weeks ago, they all started running slower and slower..

    These files that start with WP_PBA_INDEX_0 then WP_PBA_INDEX_1 and so on started appearing …and they all have huge amounts of data on them.. Godaddy is telling that is the problem

    Does anyone have any experience with these files and know what widget or addons might be causing this?? Is it safe to just delete them? How to I prevent it from happening again?

    HELLLPPPP all my sites are going down and I have no idea why ??

  • Look through your plugins, and list all the ones common to each blog.
    I do not suggest you delete those tables, or you could take the sites down depending on how the plugin is configured.

    I’m guessing, but have you got any search plugins installed?

    Thanks – I will check that. I do have search, but it is the one that comes with WordPress.
