This error has only happened since uploading 3.0

I can manually code to get my images in my posts but I have noticed that when I click the ‘Add an Image’ button in editing posts it opens a full window now and does not seem to work when upload a new image and click insert into post.

Any one got the same problem, maybe re-install 3.0?

Thanks for the help in advance.

  • I would just like to confirm I am having the same problem. I am unable to post new images as it goes into a full window and when clicking on insert into post it actually just kinda hangs.

This is in addition to the fact I am unable to add tags anymore to the posts! Whats going on?

    Same problem here.

    Tried on Firefox and Safari.

Can you try deactivating plugins, starting from any that use JavaScript in the admin area? One plugin that causes such issues currently is HeadSpace2. (The HeadSpace2 author knows about the issues, and, I imagine, an updated version will be released at some point.)

Yes for me it was headspace its working now that I deactivated it. I do hope the Headspace2 developers can get an update fast as I love that plugin!

gshield, thank you… that’s done it.

THANKS A MILLION demetris, it was the plug-in HeadSpace2 that was causing this error, just deactivated it and works like a charm now.

Finally! Other topics I found regarding this problem were closed. I have only been working with WordPress for about 2 days, but I cannot upload any image. I keep getting “Missing a temporary folder”. I have used both the Flash Uploader and the browser. Neither work. I’m getting really angry about it. What good is it if I cannot upload media that I need? I’m wondering if WordPress is really as great as I had heard…

Help!!! The uploading media was working on my site until it went to the web host. He says nothing is wrong on his side, but he can’t upload anything either. we get this message

Sorry, I have put this on the wrong site. I have put in a new request! I’m just a newbie!!
