help upgrading

  • I’m wanting to upgrade from 1.2 to 1.5, I have reviewed both the official and unofficial(podz’) upgrade instructions, and I find that I can’t seem to find some files.This isnt the first time I’ve had problems with installing, I had to get someone to actually install WordPress for me because my computer was acting up.I’ve tried deleting the winzip files and re downloading with some sucessful folder structure and some not.is there anything I can do to get it upgraded or at least find the files and folders I need?

    oh I’m aware of that.I believe that I have the zipping part figured out now, but the actually upgrading and getting it to work on my site is not working either.It was like this when I first installed WordPress as well.soomeone on the forum had to do it for me
