Help! Upgrade disaster… RESOLVED

    Ok, so it’s not really a disaster, but I would like to get this resolved quickly. I followed the instructions to upgrade. I deactiviated all my plugins, deleted all the relevant files off of the server. Uploaded to server, and now this:

    Warning: main(/home/somename/public_html/wp/wp-content/advanced-cache.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/somename/public_html/wp/wp-settings.php on line 56

    Warning: main(/home/somename here/public_html/wp/wp-content/advanced-cache.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/somename here/public_html/wp/wp-settings.php on line 56

    Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required ‘/home/somenamehere/public_html/wp/wp-content/advanced-cache.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/somenamehere/public_html/wp/wp-settings.php on line 56

    I’m pretty sure this has something to do with wp-cache, which, by the way I disabled.
    Any thoughts?

    Ok, I solved my own disaster. ??
    in wp-config.php, it looks like the plug in adds the line:
    define(‘WP_CACHE’, true);

    I removed this line, and umm… everything works again!

    yay!

    I have had similar problems with wp-cache.
    Delete it and any files it has created.
