I updated the plugin today via the WordPress admin panel, but now my site is no longer showing up. Instead I get this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/content/99/11706899/html/wp-content/plugins/above-the-fold-optimization/includes/optimization.class.php on line 126

  • Same thing, had to manually remove the whole plugin to bring the site back to normal.

    Hi AndrogenicAlopecia and sashak75,

Our apologies, we noticed your report just now. The error occurs in PHP versions below 5.4. The problem has been fixed in v2.8.6.

The Above The Fold Optimization plugin once started as a quickly setup tool for professional optimization services, it was not intended as a public plugin.

Our new plugin will be tested well before it is published so that these issues could not occur.

Tried reinstalling new version..but upon activation, got a fatal error (in red text).

Will wait a few weeks before trying again I guess.

I installed the latest version and when I click Save on the Javascript setting tab I’m getting the following error.

Warning: trim() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in <…>/wp-content/plugins/above-the-fold-optimization/admin/admin.class.php on line 879

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at <…>/wp-content/plugins/above-the-fold-optimization/admin/admin.class.php:879) in <…>/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1195
