Unable to log in for days

  • Please help if you’re able, I’ve been busting my head for days trying to fix this and my host is really slow with replies.

    The website is deleted

    1. When I install wordpress through softaculous i can log in with the registered account that is made during installation. I can do this with the username/pass or by pressing the login icon in softacolous that redirects you to WP. At this point I have a fresh new Wp that is blanco with no site built on the domain alemtotaalbouw.nl

    2. After installing elementor and envato i cannot login anymore. the username/pass doesnt get recognized anymore and when i try to login through the softaculous button I get the message “This page could not be found!”

    At point 1. the site loads a Hello world when visiting.

    At point 2. the site loads the website with elementor plug ins and envato template ( I had built this thise once before on a different host).

    The site loading in the way I had built it once before is good, but I can’t access it anymore because the softacolous Wp button redirects me to “page could not be found”. And entering with my username/pass doesnt work. Acc recovery through “forgot password” doesnt work either.

    If I want to access my domain through WP, I have to delete WP and install it again. This makes me able to enter the webiste but when I add essential plugins like Elementor the old website loads, i get kicked and cant login anymore.

    So now I am stuck in a loop, I can’t built the site from scratch because everytime i install this plugin my site reloads in built form but I can’t access.

    Can anyone help me get acces to WP again?

  • Why you can’t log in after installing the two plugins, you’d have to ask their support. I have never experienced something like this with Elementor, which is why I would recommend envato’s support.

    If you no longer have access, you can reset your password in several ways. This is described in more detail here in the article:

    My recommendation is usually to go through phpmyadmin – a database interface provided by your hoster or if I understood correctly softaculous.
