Trouble installing child theme

  • Hi. I have purchased the Genesis framework + Foodie Pro as child theme. I installed the Genesis framework (or thought I had). It is showing in my themes however when I try to install the child them it says the Genesis needs to be installed (“The parent theme could not be found. You will need to install the parent theme, genesis, before you can use this child theme”).
    I have tried to delete de Genesis framework to re-install it, however I get a message saying it can’t be deleted (“Deletion failed: The requested theme does not exist”).
    I am not very tech savvy… please help!

    For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their site. They cannot support their customers here.

    As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. As you are their customer I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there. Also, forum volunteers are not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly.
