help to find page information from old backup without restoring

  • hello I am new to wordpress and have somehow just deleted all the wording from a page I created. I had however backed everything up the day before so I have opened the backup file but unsure where to find the database for the pages and words I have created. Is this possible? I don’t want to restore to the old backup as I will lose all my new information. pls help. The page was called Marble Care

  • You can find a .sql file in the backup. That must be restored to a local database. All posts in the prefix_posts table there you can find the words. Easyest if fin the post when you have the ID of the post (See edit post url)
