• Hi I’m pretty new to wordpress, however this is not the first time I’m using it.The theme that is installed is metric.

I’m having a hard time adjusting it for my client. I’ve searched for documentation and it looks like whoever created the theme no longer has support or contact or any sort of documentation for me to use so I’m pretty frustrated and would appreciate any help.

I need to adjust the social media icons and text color in the header. I also need to add a custom link. I can’t find any widget that was used to create the header or any place to customize this tiny little area. I tried editing the CSS and it did nothing.

I see in “Theme Options” I can either enable or disable header options like social media icons, search button and text content but I cannot seem to figure out how to customize anything else.

Anyone know anything about this template and how to go about making the fixes I need? My client is open to scraping this site and starting with a fresh theme. Is that my only option????

    Thank you in advance.

  • What’s your website’s URL and how exactly do you want to adjust the social media icons?
    Change color? dimensions? location?

You can do both with CSS

Also, on what exactly do you want to create a custom link?

Thank you so much.. may I please PM you the link???

Right now the social media icons aren’t visible as I changed the background color of the site to white. Before it was brown and you could see them. So I’d like to make them a light pinkish or brown color. I would also like to enlarge the icons and make them more visible and add a custom link that to sign up for our newsletter.
