    Hi bigredboots,

It looks like this is a theme conflict. To test this, please temporarily switch to a wordpress twenty eleven theme.

Are you using a paid theme? If you diagnose a theme conflict we can take a closer look as to why this blocks the javascript.

    Thanks

Hi Richard. I switched the theme to a basic one, as well as switched to 3 or 4 calendar themes to no avail. Even when I removed the theme the event calendar did the same thing. It does not matter if you look at the calendar through a monthly, daily, or even an agenda view either, the rollover-ed details are not still not hiding even if I switch to a different theme.

I can not leave it in the basic theme for testing unfortunately – as the site is live and people are using it, but the problem does not seem to be between Styx (the paid theme) and the calendar. it seems that the JS needed to make that element invisible and hidden is not firing…

    Hi bigredboots,

This might be a plugin conflict –
Can you please try to deactivate any other plugin that you have to see if this resolves the issue. If it does, please try to deactivate one at a time to see which one is the culprit.

If it does not, I would like you to try a manual reinstall. Here is an article that walks you through the process:

Let us know how this goes.

    Thanks
