This notification is showing on my Dashboard > “The rewrite rules required by this plugin have changed or are missing. Scroll down the Advanced Settings page and click the?Update Mod_Rewrite Rules?button.”

When updating the MOD_Rewrite Rules, a message shows up

    Mod Rewrite Rules

When Expert cache delivery is enabled a file called .htaccess is modified. It should probably be in the same directory as your wp-config.php. This file has special rules that serve the cached files very quickly to visitors without ever executing PHP. The .htaccess file can be updated automatically, but if that fails, the rules will be displayed here and it can be edited by you. You will not need to update the rules unless a warning shows here.Mod Rewrite rules must be updated!

The plugin could not update /home1/qathiyac/public_html/.htaccess file:?Page test failed as pages did not match with new .htaccess rules.
Enable debug log on Debugging page for further details and try again
    .
The new rules go above the regular WordPress rules as shown in the code below:

Hi @fyrakins, i had to do what’s best and just delete the plugin since its taking forever support to contact back their customers.

That was my solution and that’s why i marked this topic as resolved.

Hope you find a better plugin with a helpful customer service.

This sounds like a permissions issue with your .htaccess file and WP Super Cache not being able to write new caching rules to it. This is something you’ll want to check with your hosting provider about.
