    Hi @thecounterblog,

generating an SSL certificate on Namecheap should work, unless they have changed something recently. You could always send them a message and ask if Let’s Encrypt is still supported.

Could you check if the really-simple-ssl-permissions-check.txt file exists in the .well-known/acme-challenge/ directory? And if the RewriteRule ^.well-known/(.*)$ - [L] rule is present in the .htaccess file?

    Hi @thecounterblog ,

Did the above-mentioned solution help to resolve your issue, or do you need any further assistance?

    Hi,

Thanks for your assistance and follow up.

I ended up purchasing a 1 year certificate from Namecheap instead so I’ll mark this as resolved.

I have no idea how to find the “.well-known/acme-challenge/” directory as it doesn’t show up in the website file manager, so I apparently am not qualified to continue troubleshooting this myself. I appreciate your work. Cheers!
