Help removing extra padding around header/main menu when using the Avada theme..

I want my logo/ main menu to sit in line with each other neatly – the only way I have been able to do this was to push the main menu down to the same level as my logo by increasing the main menu height (Theme Options > Main Menu > Main Menu Height) which annoyingly seems to add padding to the top AND bottom…

I want the gap between the header and slider to be reduced but keeping the logo/menu in line – how do I do this?!
