    Hi Thomas,
Thanks for your help with this:

    Hi,
I have been having the same problem discussed here. AdSense auto ads are showing up above my site’s title. I tried to remove Auto Ads and while the Ads themselves have disappeared, there is a large blank space above my website’s title where the ads used to be. How can I get rid of that? Additionally, I keep getting a message from Advanced Ads saying that an auto ad code was found that that I should do the following:
“You can change this in Advanced Ads > Settings > AdSense > Verification code and Auto ads”
How should I change that line? It is not checked.
at this point, I just want to be done with AdSense.
    Thank you for your help!

    Hi thelazyslowcooker,

    thanks for the update.

    You mean remove AdSense completely?

If the Auto ads option in the plugin settings is disabled then it is likely that the Auto ads code was also added somewhere else, maybe another plugin or in some theme options.

Right now, I cannot find any AdSense codes on your homepage. Did you find the solution already?

    Thanks,
    Thomas

I guess I did. The AdHealth notification has also gone away.

If I try to reintroduce AdSense back to my site, will I be able to successfully remove some of the ads i feel will turn away my visitors?

    Thanks again for your help!

    Thanks for your feedback.

If you are using Auto ads then AdSense has full control over the positions. You can adjust a few ad types in your AdSense account under Ads > Auto ads or disable top anchor ads in the AdSense settings in Advanced Ads.

If you are not happy with the placements then you might want to check out how to place AdSense ads manually.

    Best regards,
    Thomas
