So you will need to use FTP or Cpanel and delete that plugin from your site files on the server – find it here:

    wp-content
       plugins
           wordpress-seo - DELETE THIS FILE

Ask your hosts how to access your files if you don’t know.

And for help with the problem with that plugin, go here:

Thanks for prompt reply; I think it will have to be through my hosts as I cannot even access the Blog at all

Yes, that’s what Cpanel or FTP mean – you need to set that up via your host.

    Thanks again

I managed to get into File Manager and deleted the wordpress-seo file and the Blog is back up.

But is the wordpress-seo file not a necessary file – for search engines? In other words, what do you recommend that I do next.

I’m really very grateful for your help.

See the forum for that plugin – it’s been fixed.
