Help please… Spacing, deleting css bar

A screenshot is of no use. What might help is a link to a page demonstrating the problem and a reasonably detailed description of the issue.

You can’t increase the spacing between menu items without increasing the width of #navbar ul first.

Ok, how do I increase the width and then the spacing?

Edit style.css and change:

#navbar ul {
    float: none;
    margin: 0 auto;
    width: 26em;
}
.ot-menu li {
    float: left;
    position: relative;
}

to:

#navbar ul {
    float: none;
    margin: 0 auto;
    width: 36em;
}
.ot-menu li {
    float: left;
    margin: 0 1em;
    position: relative;
}

Yes but you may then also need to widen the enclosing ul or your menu will try to wrap onto 2 lines.

To remove the lower black bar, just delete border-bottom: 5px solid #000; from:

.posttitle {
    border-bottom: 5px solid #000000;
    margin: 0 0 5px;
    padding: 0 0 5px;
}

you can try incresing padding

.posttitle
{
padding: 0 10px; /* shorthand css */
